2026 First of Year Update

I wanted to take a quick second and give everybody an update on the progress of Willow Lakes as we get ready to head into our most exciting year yet. If you haven't driven through Willow Lakes recently, make sure to come visit as we now have two skiable lakes and six homes built or currently under construction with many more planning to start this year.

BOAT SHOW

The first big news is that we will be at the Utah Boat Show and Watersports Expo from January 29th - February 1st at the Mountain America Expo Center, so make sure to stop by and see us at Booth #607. We like to use the Boat Show as a kick-off for the boating season by offering big savings on our remaining inventory of lots. LAKE PROGRESS

The major lake construction is completed and both lakes are full! We've had Members skiing on the Slalom Lake and even had some brave Members surfing on the Wake Lake on Christmas Eve! Most of the sand has been installed on the beach of the Wake Lake and we have more sand onsite that will be laid soon. We're still fine-tuning the lakes and will nail down water treatment and lake levels as needed throughout the season. CLUBHOUSE 

Design is underway for the Clubhouse that is anticipated to be 30,000 square feet, complete with full top-level fitness facilities, spa, massage, redlight therapy, hot/cold therapy, swimming pool, hot tubs, grill area, pickleball, etc... As I mentioned in my last email, we have obtained approval from Logan City and are moving forward as quickly as we can to get construction underway. We are also planning for a Boat House with viewing platform as well as additional viewing areas and hot tubs on the Island Lounge in the Slalom Lake. Below is a preliminary rendering of the Clubhouse, it is going to be spectacular and an amazing part of Willow Lakes.

SHORT-TERM RENTALS

Due to the wishes of the owners, none of the residential lots can be Short-Term Rentals. We have reserved that benefit for only five specific lots right next to the Clubhouse to limit the impact on the neighborhoods from noise or parking shortages. These five lots are premium Beachfront Lots with exceptional views across the Wake Lake that should be fantastic opportunities for the buyers. We are now able to accept non-binding Reservation Deposits on these five lots that will reserve the lot until the final platting is complete later this year. If you'd like to reserve a Short-Term Rental lot, it is a $50,000 deposit that is fully refundable until 30 days after the lot is platted and we enter a Purchase Contract. BOAT USAGE - 2026

Willow Lakes is still ramping up to full capacity as lots get completed and homes get built. Our plan for this year is to have one Club boat on each lake for 2026 and then scale up as needed. I anticipate our owners will be able to use their own boats as well by scheduling with us to prevent overcrowding. More information on that is forthcoming.

UTILITIES AND PAVING

Phases 1 & 2 are fully completed and paved; while phases 3 & 4 have sewer and most of the culinary water and stormwater installed. The remaining infrastructure is being installed right now with planned completion in the next few weeks. We will then be able to install curb and gutter and asphalt as weather warms and dries this spring. For current access right now, without having to drive on muddy roads or cross 1000 West, you can access Willow Lakes via 600 South 1360 West and then drive south into Willow Lakes. We will also be finishing and connecting 1400 West to 600 South to give more-direct access to Willow Lakes from a stoplight at 1000 West. This will offer a safer route to and from the community.

PHASE 4 LOTS

Maybe the biggest news is that we are now able to release our Phase 4 lots, which includes all remaining Logan River and Wake Lake lots. We have saved some of the best for last and these lots are fantastic! The Wake Lake lots are deep lots with beautiful views and wide beaches; and the River lots are big lots on quiet turns of the Logan River, many of which are in a Cul-de-Sac off of Willow Lakes Drive. You may notice prices have increased over the past year and they will continue to do so as inventory shrinks and we complete more of our amenities, so take advantage of the current pricing with the Boat Show Discount and get your favorite lot reserved ASAP before prices go up again!
