Clubhouse Approval from City

Good morning, we have great news to announce, plus a couple of other updates and reminders.

Last night, the Logan City Council unanimously approved Willow Lakes Phase 5! That means that we're approved for our 30,000+ sq ft Clubhouse and Fitness Center (complete with expected spa amenities, golf simulator, hot/cold therapy, massage, red light therapy, pool, hot tubs, grill area, and more) plus our five Short-Term Rental lots along the Beach Area next to the Clubhouse as well as additional single-family lots along the Slalom Lake. The plan is to start design of the Clubhouse this winter and we expect to break ground next year so watch for additional updates.

We've also come to a cooperative agreement with Logan City regarding trail construction that will connect Willow Lakes to the Logan City Trail System and Trapper Park via a bridge across the Logan River that will be installed very soon.

This is fantastic news as it was really the last major hurdle we needed to clear to fully be able to realize the vision for Willow Lakes that we have been working towards for the better part of a decade. Also, by having these five specific lots approved for Short-Term Rentals, it solidifies their status as approved STR homes and waives some of the Logan City requirements such as proximity restrictions in relation to other STR. It also makes these five STR lots especially desirable as they are the only STR lots available in Willow Lakes, which will keep their rates of return high while eliminating the worry about other STR homes in the greater Willow Lakes community. We are accepting reservations for these STR lots now, so let me know if you are interested and I'll get your name on the list, we expect the price to be around $800,000 for the STR lots.

*Additional Updates*

The next piece of big news is that the Slalom Lake is officially full! We still need to get the sand along the shores, but we are allowing our owner/members to ski the Slalom Lake if they would like. Please reach out to me regarding scheduling and other safety details and remember this is for Willow Lakes members only. Please note that the course is not yet installed, but is coming.

*Wake Lake Update*

The stream from the Slalom Lake to the Wake Lake is now flowing, which will help fill the Wake Lake even faster. We are about 30" from full so there is a little time before we can have Wake/Surf Boats on the water, but it is coming quickly. Also, we have laid additional beach sand and will continue to do so as it arrives onsite from out-of-state. For reference, the water edge when full will be about halfway up the sand so there will be a great walkable beach as well as an area under the water surface to walk and play with a soft sandy bottom.

*River Restoration Project*

The River Restoration Project is going well with plantings ongoing and thinning of non-native and undesirable trees continuing.

*Remaing Lots and Pre-Fill Discount*

We are running out of lots as people have taken advantage of discounts up to 20% via our Pre-Fill and Quick Close Discounts. These discounts go away in 23 days! You must close by October 31, 2025 to receive these discounts, this is a hard deadline and lots are first-come, first-served so let me know if you'd like to be a part of Willow Lakes.

We anticipate opening the next phase sometime next year (though at increased prices as we'll have operational lakes as well as reduced availability). An updated map and price sheet (including the next phase) can be found here. Please reach out to me if you'd like to discuss what lot would be best for you or to schedule a time to meet at Willow Lakes for a tour.

As a final note, we have more homes that have begun construction and several more that are planning to break ground this year. These homes are absolutely beautiful and solidify Willow Lakes as the premiere outdoor/active lifestyle community in the Mountain West. Make sure to take a minute and drive through Willow Lakes to see all that is happening, and as always, I'm happy to meet you there to show you around. Thanks and have a great rest of your day.
